To the ‘Bullet-Proof Skill Drill’ … when you are ‘Set Up’ at ‘Impact Fix’, you usually have two rear pockets, one target side and the other brace side. At the ‘Top Of The Back & Up Swing’ (TOB) your ‘Brace Back Pocket’ is rotated or coiled aft, away from the Target & Body Lines. This Brace Pocket is about in the middle of your back, in the proximity of your Spinal Column.

When you drop your ‘Lever Assemblies’ (Hands, Wrists, Arms and actual Golf Club) down and continue to drive them out and forward, towards the ‘Intermediate and Far Targets’, the brace Pocket returns to it ‘Impact Fix (original) Position’.

The ‘Hip Driven Clubhead’ travels through the ‘Impact & Separation Zone’. As the ‘Hip Axis Un-Coils or Releases its Potential Energy’, the brace pocket continues to move down, out and forward towards the Target Line. This powerful core motion simultaneously moves the Target Rear Pocket rotationally ‘Back & Up’. We refer to this as ‘Retreating or Clearing’. The Target Pocket moves to where the Brace Pocket was at ‘TOB’ only a short moment previously. Thus, the Target Pocket ‘Swaps Position with the Brace Pocket.
