‘Breaking 110 and then 100 is relatively more of the same. Have a patient and informed ‘Golf Teacher’ would be a benefit. If the Green Fee were $30.00, might this teacher strongly suggest that you set aside two Green Fees For a quality lesson? Practice can be a lot of fun if you expect it to be so!
‘Breaking 90’ is more of the same with some earned quality. How long will this 120 to 89 journey take? As long as you dedicate and plan for success. What are the ingredients required to ‘Break 80’?
Work from the ‘Quadranted Dance Floor’ (5, 10 and 15 Foot Circles). Even make some ‘3 Footers’ until you are ‘Comfortable’. Use your ‘8 Step Putting & Chipping Pre-Shot Routine’. (PSR) Golf, to preclude fear must be mastered at this small end. It will not give you as much ‘Get Lucky’ as you might feel you deserve! Plan on that shortfall!
Have you heard of 3 Footers being ‘Knee Knockers’? If you do your ‘5 Paces Back View Down The Line’ and select a 15 Inch Intermediate Target, (I/T) you will have ‘Ocular Control’ and make more short Putts. If you can see a known ‘I/T out of your ‘Peripheral Vision’ you shall make more ‘Short Putts’. Strive to ‘Cross The Penny Marker’ with a ‘Quiet Head’.
More simple ‘Break 80’ skills are an ‘Improved Short Game’. Before you arrive at this situation, you would be rewarded by developing an ‘Approach Game’. This is strikes inside your comfortable ‘Full Swing #Pitching Wedge’. If you can find the ‘5, 10 and 15 Foot Landing Circles’, the ‘Putter Work Load’ and numbers shall improve! The ‘Flat Stick’ may be half the game?
GOLF is a thinking man’s game?
