Sequential Mechanics

(see ‘Impact & Separation Zone’ for golf) If a component ‘Leads through a segment, then another complementary or cooperating component very logically will ‘Lag’. The ‘Tip’ (Sweet Spot) trails or ‘Lags’. It’s catching up generates significant ‘Acceleration and Clubhead Speed’. (see ‘The Bend & Straighten Drill’) This ‘Kinetic Energy’ (Load & Unload Velocity) enables our making ‘Energy Transfer and Doing Dynamic Work’.
Another useful image would be driving your ‘Two-Wheel, Rear-Wheel Drive pick-up truck down a country road? The front bumper ‘Leads’ while the rear bumper ‘Lags’. Along the same sequential mechanical line, (same pick-up truck), the Front Wheels Steer while the Rear Wheels Drive. In golf our ‘Target Hand Pinkey Finger’ (heel pad) ‘LEADS’ while the Clubhead Sweet Spot ‘LAGS’. If our Brace Hand ‘LEADS’, we invite that demon known as ‘Casting’.
You know our ‘Swapping Pockets Bullet Proof Drill’. When we trigger our ‘Sweeping Take-Away’ our Brace Pocket load-coils rearward. When we achieve our Top Of Back & Up Swing, (see ‘Swing Sequence #5’) this Brace Pocket actually ‘Sits Down’ slightly, while we will optimally increase our Knee Flex. This winding up actually shortens or compresses our ‘Human Musculo-Skeletal Machine’. Next, cooperatively, in the ‘Down Out Forward & Through Segment’ (DOFT – Front Swing) we transition (see ‘Bump’) while maintaining our ‘Knee Flex’. Passing through ‘Impact & Separation’, we necessarily ‘Unwinde or Rotate Towards the Intermediate and Far Targets’. In this ‘DOFT’ segment the Brace Pocket rotates forward while the Target Pocket rotates aft … ‘Swapping Pockets’.
As we progress ‘DOFT’, we release our ‘Knee Flex’ and end up atop of our Target Leg Femur, Chin & Chest facing the two mentioned Targets.
