The ‘Lever Assemblies’ are called ‘The Target Side and The Brace Side’. They are made up of very strict components … the Shoulder Sockets, the Upper Arms, Elbows, Forearms, Wrists, Hands and the actual Golf Club, which is part of the ‘Target Lever’.
What primarily do they do! What is their tasking?
The Target Lever has three specific jobs … 1) To Control The Clubhead, 2) To establish and maintain the ‘Bottom Of Swing Arc’. (BOSA or Swing Radius – The Length Of The Dead Rope) and 3) to receive Pivot Pressure provided by the ‘Pectoralis’ against the ‘Biceps’.
The Brace Lever has specific jobs as well. They are 1) To provide stability to the Target or Swing Lever, (swing the Target Lever to the Top Of Back Swing (TOB) and hold. It will not be in a very stable configuration. It will easily fatigue! Now, add the Brace Hand to the GRIP Package … very different situation!) 2) The Brace Lever contains and presents the three ‘Primary Articulating Joints’ (PAJ). They accomplish ‘Velocity’ through what we refer to as the ‘Three Lever Single Action Sequence’. (see ‘123 123’) 3) The Brace Index Finger Monitors the Velocity of the Clubhead Toe’. 4) Applies the #3 Pressure Point, Index Carpel Joint #2 that helps to close down and control or aim the ‘C/H Toe’ and 5) THE Brace Hand ‘Monitors The Clubhead Velocity. (see ‘Rate Of Closure of the Clubhead Lag Position and Pressure’).
If one elects to do so, the Target Lever can perform as a ‘Power Accumulator’ whereby it Loads and Stores Potential Energy’. More age mature golfers can benefit from ‘Target Lever Bend & Straighten’, but it must be all the way back to the BOSA or to the limit of natural ‘Three Joint or Brace Lever Extensor Action’. (see ‘BLEA’)
If you fail to accomplish this degree of control, ‘Pure Sweet Spot Strikes’ will be elements of your imagination, along with ‘Ball Flight Control’ and pleasing scores. It is possible to become a very proficient ‘Arms Over Legs – Upper Body Dominant’ golfer if your timing is reliable!
