We read and study three ‘Swing Paths’ … 1) Square To Square, 2) Inside-Out and 3) Outside-In. You can accomplish any of these with three ‘Clubface Aim Conditions … 1) Square, 2) Open and 3) Closed. This produces a variety of known ‘Ball Flight Shapes’ and outcomes.
Any of these combinations except the ‘Square Square Clubhead Path’ with a ‘Square Clubface Aim’ will result in ‘Spin Rate’ around the ‘North South Polar or X Axis’ and ‘Curvature’.
It is imperative all golfers understand that the ‘Natural, least resistive Clubhead Swing Path’ is ‘Down The Body or Foot Line’ … also known as ‘Across The Toes’. (see ‘Unmanipulated’)
Try to master this ‘Swing Path’ and thus making the straightest possible ‘Initial and Downstream Ball Flight’. (DTL)
The absolute overall best ‘Ball Flight’ is ‘Dead Straight’, even though that may not be the popular and most practical opinion. Golfers who are ‘Drawers’ should work on hitting ‘Fades’!
The primary adjustment for ‘Go Straight Right Of Go Straight Left’ is ‘Alignment or our ‘555 Golf Railway Track Concept’. “You are a natural Draw or Fader!” It is best to fix that!
The secondary adjustment is to employ ‘Curvature’ via controlled and know ‘Side Spin Rate’. This is created by an ‘Open Or Closed Clubface Aim’ married to proper ‘Clubhead Path’ and NOT by any ‘Lever Assembly Manipulation’. Manipulation almost unavoidably causes ‘Muscular Tension’. This creates variability and uncontrollability! (‘Get Lucky Golf’)
Other than ‘The Bend & Straighten Function of the Brace Lever Assembly’, strive to do as little as possible with the ‘Smaller Lever Muscles’. (see ‘Twitch vs. Truck Muscles’)
Strive to deliver the golf ball on its ‘Pre-Determined Ball Flight Line’ using ‘Pivot Pressure or Brace Leg Drive’ and not so much with ‘Hand Action’.
